Corroboree

A DAY OF CULTURAL CELEBRATION FOR OUR COMMUNITY

"I believe that this experience was really amazing as we got to connect with fellow Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander students and to engage with our culture." - Teacher

Murrawadeen Goodjarga - Placing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures at the heart of our students' education

Corroboree is a day of cultural experiences, learning and celebration for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in Sydney Catholic Schools. Students and teachers can look forward to an exciting day of workshops and performances facilitated by community leaders and inspiring young role models. The event culminates in a celebratory corroboree marking the cultural diversity that our Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander students bring to the fabric of the SCS community.

Join us again in 2021 for an all-day workshop where teachers and students actively engage in collaborative processes to improve their understanding and practice of theatrical forms.
